I N F O R M A T I O N

The Session consists of the Pastors and the Elders in active service.  All members of the Session, including the Pastors, are entitled to vote. 

The Session is responsible for the mission and government of the church.  Therefore, it has many responsibilities as outlined in the Book of Order of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). 

The Pastor of the church shall be the Moderator of the Session and the Session shall not meet without the Pastor.

The following are the various ministries which act on behalf of the Session to carry out the "Great Ends of the Church."

• Community Liaison

• Hospitality and Fellowship

• Mission

• Outreach and Membership

• Safe Sanctuary

• Stewardship and Finance

• Visioning Ministry

• Worship

The Session also oversees:

• the Board of Deacons, whose duty it is to minister to those in need, to the sick, the friendless, and those in distress; and

• the Board of Trustees, which is responsible for the business of running the church, handling the finances and maintaining the building and property.
