Mission Statement: St. Andrews Mustard Seeds strives to provide developmentally enriching early childhood education activities in a nurturing Christian environment for eligible children and their families.
Children eligible for this program must meet family financial guidelines. Eligibility will depend on family income and number of people in the famiy.
This program is sponsored by St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and the Presbytery of Carlisle.
St. Andrews Mustard Seeds preschool will open in September 2007, with one class of ten four-year-old children.
The class will be in session Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Each day a snack and lunch will be provided.
The class will be led by a lead teacher/director and an assistant teacher.
Aligned with NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children)standards and Keystone Star standards, St. Andrews Mustard Seeds curriculum will include:

5. Spiritual Development
For 30 years, St. Andrews has sponsored a Boost program for 3- and 4-year-olds. The program closed in May 2006 when the teacher retired. After careful consideration, the Mission Committee of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, decided that a preschool program for four-year-old children will benefit families in the Lebanon Community. September, 2007 is a new beginning for St. Andrews Mustard Seeds.
