Youth Missions
Our youth are
encouraged to
participate in
mission through:
Crop Walk
(Church World
Service) by
obtaining
sponsors for a
walk-a-thon with
the proceeds
going to provide
food for the
hungry and the
means to be
self-sufficient.
Compassion
International by sponsoring a
needy child from
another part of
the world. Our child's name is Melchor Picarra, Jr. from the
Phillippines.
STAR Project
in providing
Christmas gifts
for area senior
citizens who have
no family in the
area.
Relay for Life
by obtaining
sponsors for a
walk-a-thon with
the proceeds
going to the
American Cancer
Society.
Free Noon Meal by preparing and
serving a noontime meal twice each year in conjunction with Lebanon
County Christian Ministries.
Mission Trips to various localities
outside our home county. For three years we participated in the
Pittsburgh Project, where our youth worked to help aging homeowners make
much needed repairs and renovations to their homes. In 2009, our
senior high youth traveled to Buffalo, NY to help provide a Vacation
Bible School to inner city children. Our middle school youth went
to Shawsville, VA and worked in a Rescue Mission and picked blueberries
for a food bank.
